Assalamualaikum…..
Sorry to improve your statement…..not let we share….but let us share.
Talking about gerund…..it means talking about verb that is verb+ ing.
Remember……….its function is not as a verb but as a noun.
Example:
I finish doing………….
She stop working……
Explanation: doing and working are gerund.
Shortly, there are some verbs allowed by gerunds
Those are; enjoy, finish, stop, quit, mind, postpone, put off, keep, keep on, consider, think about, discuss, talk about, etc.
How about in negative sentence? Hehehehehehe that is easy question ……..mate!
Just say I think about not talking to you anymore…. It is easy, isn’t it?
So the pattern is not + gerund.
So, never say I finish to do………….but finish doing…..
Note…….stop can be followed by gerund or to infinitive but they have different meaning.
Example: I stop to smoke….
I stop smoking…
Do you know the difference? This question goes to you……….and becomes homework of yours.
The gerund explanation to be continued! I am looking forward to waiting for your reply.

Assalamualaikum warahmatullah…
It is kindly informed……..
You can collect your mate’s questions or problem in English
We can share and cope with those here……..
I just want to apply my knowledge that I got at campus. I can also share the English teaching methods. I got it when I taught at Briton International English school….
There 3 main ways urgently known for English learner in studying English…
1. Study English a little bit but continuously. I mean it had better study 15 minutes in a day rather than 3 hours but only once in a week.
2. Listen……………listen………….listen………you have to always listen English news so that you are use to (terbiasa) listening. The more you listen and try…..the more you are capable of succeeding………………………….. I promise
3. You must have a good attitude…….I mean……….
Never judge that English is difficult………..the correct one ……English is challenge ………………..

Hehehehehehe be spirit……..U CAN

Hehehehehehe
Nice answer…..before responding yours, I gonna remind……..,
Remember………will is one of modals……. So never use “to” after will………
Example you wrote…: will not ever to smoke. Perfectly we say…..will never smoke anymore…….

Well to the point……
I stop smoking means that someone who will never smoke again forever.
Great answer I can see……and totally correct, but you needn’t (do not need to) put “will” because my question is not “I will stop smoking” only “ I stop smoking”. Hehehe

A little bit problem goes to number one “ I stop to smoke”
You wrote” I stop to smoke means that someone who stop smoke for a several time.
Hehehehehehe I do not want to say that it is not good but it must be improve indeed
Look at carefully……………there are two verbs……..so it means two activities…….
Stop………………………….to……………………………..smoke……
This sentence (is) used if there is an activity is happening before doing smoke……
Example: I stop ( eating, teaching, reading, talking) ………………….to smoke. It means that one preceded activity is stopped to do another activity.
Another example: she stops to study……..may be she is cooking at the moment and then she stops it to do study ( study= do study).

I think that is all………thanks anyway…….
